The Trumbullplex is a Anarchist housing collective with an active show space and  zine library. It was collectivized in 1993, although it’s been a center for art, activism, and fun since the at least the 70’s.

The Trumbullplex theatre collective runs the art space to sustain and move forward art, activism, and education in Detroit. We partner with the Trumbullplex residents, neighbors, artists, people of conscience, and any potential allies to build a safe space for sharing art and ideas free from oppression.

Your webmaster has done a great job designing the look and feel and my congratulations to all those who contributed to the contents, Great work!!
As I am no longer an anarchist and have gone to the dark corporate side, I remember this place from the “Food not bombs” era at Scripps and Pope parks, very cool place, people, and concept.
Next time I am in the area, I will drop off some extra tools, grains, rice, etc., as I fully support this great cause.

This is the orignal mission statement from 1993:

We have formed the Trumbullplex; also know as the Wayne Association for Collective Housing, to create a space where we control our own lives.  We are a not-for-profit project dedicated to self-sufficiency in all facets of our lives; in our housing, our work, and our energy.  We support other projects that share our goals of dismantling racism, sexism, homophobia, and the oppression of poor people through activities in our theater and housing collective.  We want to create a positive environment for revolutionary change in which economic and social relationships are based on mutual aid and the absence of hierarchy.  Through consensus decision making and full participation in carrying out our decisions, we create the circumstances and expectations for collective empowerment.  Ultimately, we strive to realize these goals through respect and constructive communication among ourselves.

If you want to visit, please email trumbullplex@gmail.com or just show up to an event listed on this site or on our facebook page. If you don’t contact ahead of time, you probably won’t get a tour of the house and you won’t be able to stay there. Trumbullplex has a housing collective attached to the art space and may be accepting new residents soon. There is an interview process. It might be smart to set up a weekend stay at Trumbullplex to see what it’s like!

They knew it, but, as I recall, they were faincg a good deal of criticism for the security measures being put in place and backed off a bit. Aunty Bertha, that doesn’t make any sense at all. The cops were breaking windows and harassing visitors to… stop protestors from breaking windows and harassing visitors? Come on, the comparison with Montebello is a joke, that would be more relevant if they had gone to the actual meetings and roughed up George Bush.

I think I know the amazing person in this video. He used to be a backup dancer for Sting.

Be careful tainkg medical advice from Yahoo Answers. Some of the answers to your last question were bizarre, especially the one about masturbation causing torsion of the testis. One testis larger than the other may be a result of mumps, but you should seek proper medical advice about this in your case.Sperm count tests involve examining a fresh semen sample. They are not expensive as tests go, but obviously require some privacy to produce. Talk to your doctor about this.

It is most important that you post regularly, whether weekly, several
times a week, or daily. These keywords make excellent
blog content ideas for generating articles, videos, podcasts or commentary

the missing pieces in your display case
help to stretch out my mind a bit.

and no big ordeal seems be required
as if alive with the impossible cracks
    of a glaze under fire/

regardless of what all the hipsters say
