Spend Saturday afternoon making copper etched jewelry and supporting animal rights activism. Also: drinking coffee and tea, enjoying vegan treats, hanging out with friends, and exploring a pop-up shop filled with upcycled craft supplies!
On July 14, Small Craft will host a skillshare with Christine Wagner of Design Specimen. Christine makes copper etched jewelry as part of a larger practice of animal rights activism, and she’ll be bringing both her techniques and her message to the Trumbullplex.
For a $5 materials fee, you’ll be given everything you need to make an etched copper pendant:
- A pre-cut and pre-drilled copper disk
- Pre-printed image transfer (there will be a couple of design options to choose from, crafty and vegan messages)
- Q-Tips
- Rubber Gloves
- Safety Glasses
- Jump Rings
- Sandpaper
- Cording for hanging pendant on
- How-To Packet
When the skillshare ends, you’ll bring home your own handmade pendant, along with a renewed sense of compassion for animals.
You can pre-register for your spot here.
Christine will also have a small selection of goods for sale.
